In this multifunctional role you will use your field and corporate sales experience to develop and lead the revenue generation function for the US for various lines of business including Domains & SSL, Websites, e-commerce, e-mail and server products. Establish realistic and stretch revenue goals and develop internal staff in the attainment of such goals.

Responsibilities

  • In conjunction with senior leadership, assist in the planning and execution of annual sales and customer retention targets across a multi-channel distribution system.
  • Work with line management to create meaningful and measurable sales KPIs for all applicable positions.
  • Create and deliver consultative sales strategy and training to all appropriate staff members.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to inbound telesales, outbound telesales, customer service sales, and customer retention teammates in order to deliver excellent customer experiences and achieve market KPIs.

  • Evaluate the most successful customer/IONOS relationships and develop strategies for mirroring these successes with future potential clients.
  • Create and maintain weekly sales and revenue dashboard reports and discuss with senior management; provide and track corrective action items as necessary to achieve KPIs.
  • Compile and analyze various sales, call and conversion metrics at the product, department and individual level. Discuss metrics with line management and devise strategies to improve sales results on an individualized basis.
  • Create incentives and initiatives as necessary designed to drive sales excitement in a high-volume contact center environment.
  • Maintain current knowledge of competitive landscape, products and pricing; deliver feedback on a regular basis to appropriate management
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff member. Lead by example.
  • Manage and mentor direct-reports.
  • Partner with corporate marketing to create appropriate marketing visuals and sales materials
  • Manage partner relationships with outsourced sales providers, provide direction as needed, assist with contract negotiations and drive success in partner channels by applying appropriate BPO management strategies.
  • Perform audits as necessary to ensure the highest sales quality throughout all market channels.
  • Ensure best practices are in place to retain customers seeking to cancel products or services, coach teammates to best retention strategies, deliver a best-in-class customer loyalty experience through the retention process.
  • Achieve all position KPIs related to US sales, revenue, and customer retention.

Qualifications

  • 4 year degree, or High School Diploma/equivalent with comparable job experience
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience, including at least 1 year working with outbound telesales or partner sales agencies; prior experience in a customer service capacity strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years customer service experience
  • Strong leadership experiences and qualities including the ability to lead direct and indirect staff members.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel; strong data analytical skills with the ability to compile and analyze data to tell a story.
  • Experiences assisting in the creation and delivery of training content to staff; familiarity with various applications in support of this objective.
  • Strong organizational, planning, analytical, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of applicable voice systems/call center software is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, self-driven, motivational drive and the ability to multitask effectively in a demanding work environment - meet simultaneous deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively interact with all levels of personnel, as well as with external customers and vendors.
  • Ability to create presentations and present to the executive level/C-suite.
