In order to fulfill this mission, we are looking for a Partner Sales Representative for the US market, who will sell our innovative cloud products through partners (mainly MSPs, ISVs and Cloud Resellers) and the channel organization. As the ideal candidate, you show experience in consultative selling and the ability to "think BIG" and execute on propositions ranging from transformational to tactical. You are a partner-focused individual showing a high level of empathy and the ability to understand partners' needs. You will need to be able to translate client 'needs' into solutions with a high level of responsiveness, follow-through, and execution of commitments. We are looking for someone with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to identify opportunities with the help of the channel organization.


Your area of activity includes the following tasks:

  • Strategic and continuous development of an US-wide partner landscape for the constant maximization of sales.
  • Identification, onboarding and development of new partners as well as care of existing partner relationships.
  • Review and continuous improvement of workflows and processes as well as the planning and creation of channel sales campaigns.
  • Identify and create new opportunities leading to incremental revenue for the IONOS Cloud IaaS product line in the US through channel partners.
  • Work with Partners to build and manage a sustained pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring that Ionos sales systems are complete and accurate at all times.
  • Engage with Pre-Sales to develop and distribute customer solutions developed in cooperation with partners and based on IONOS Cloud technology.
  • Identify and create partner business cases to show tangible benefits and to efficiently drive opportunities to win.
  • Conduct sales presentations for customers and related partners.
  • Actively develop personal knowledge of industry/market sector, partners' business challenges, and competitive and economic landscape.

In addition to several years of relevant professional experience with demonstrable success in B2B sales, as well as experience in the IT sector, you have the following qualifications:

  • Good communication skills, very good negotiating skills, and assertiveness.
  • Proven channel sales experience in an appropriate cloud product line
  • Demonstrable results-oriented attitude that overcomes barriers
  • Ability to demonstrate strong x-lob and matrix working across sales lead teams
  • Very good understanding of numbers, analytical thinking, and cost awareness.
  • A high level of the initiative as well as an independent and goal-oriented way of working.
  • Ideally, good, personal networking in the IT channel and corresponding partner network as well as know-how of cloud and IT infrastructures.
